Super integral! Setting up the 2-mile loop is not for the faint of heart, but ensures an awesome all-night experience for our participants.
Help our participants and spectators get checked in, answer questions about start time, team photos, chip timing, bathroom locations, parking, etc. Most importantly, get to know people and make some new friends!
Help get the race started, make sure people have their race bibs and team relay batons, help with events and questions for the first 4 hours of the race.
Midnight to 4am. Help with dance party at midnight (throw out glowsticks, judge dance party, get people pumped up!). Dark Sky Hour at 2am (make sure people have flashlights, assist with Astronomy Club, answer questions, help keep our runners safe in the dark)
Hand out medals to finishers. Help set up breakfast (griddles, tables for preparation and serving, cutting fruit, getting out plates, cups, utensils, cooking pancakes). Collect donations for our charity. Ensure people have a bib or wristband before eating breakfast. Assist with giveaways after breakfast
Help take down canopies, tables, equipment. Remove course markers (2-mile loop). Clean up trash, remove all belongings.
Provide medical care to participants in need (must have medical credentials to provide such aid)
Bless you. Come from start to finish and witness the whole race. You'll get to see everything! Sunset, sunrise, stars, giveaways, dance parties, inspiring runners, and a pancake breakfast.
