Course Set Up
This position requires hard, physical labor, heavy lifting and tough hiking. Volunteers will be trained prior to beginning work. Position consists of setting up courses, including targets, setting up signage, setting pins and flags. All work will be supervised by MAF employees. Volunteer will receive a free t-shirt, lunch and a 1 day MAF Pass.
Vendor Village Set Up
Volunteers will help set up vendor village, including the registration booth, merchandise booth and other various vendors. Position will also include setting up signs. Volunteer will receive a free t-shirt, lunch and a 1 day MAF Pass.
Donate use of Side by Side Machine
2-3 machines needed per event. Machine will need to be delivered Monday morning and picked up the following Monday morning. Machine will be cleaned and full of fuel at return. Any damages that may occur will be fixed and paid for MAF. Donation of a machine will earn you 1 Adult - 3 day pass.
Parking Attendant
Direct traffic, organize parking. This position requires a friendly disposition and the ability to work independently. Volunteer will receive a free t-shirt.
Lift Manager
Bottom of lift - This position will consist of welcoming people as they arrive at the lift. Coordinate shooters according to start times. Provide course information (locations, unique shots etc.). Advise attendees on safety and preparedness (i.e. water, sunscreen etc.). Top of Lift - This position will consist of directing shooters to their correct courses. Coordinate start times as they exit the lift. Must have course knowledge. Assist shooters, communicate with Mountain Manager as issues arise. Volunteer will receive a free t-shirt.
Course Manager
This position will require you to walk down a course a couple times during your shift. Course managers will keep shooters moving in a timely manner, manage safety of shooters and others on the course, Keep course clean of trash etc. check flags and tape to maintain clear direction and paths for shooters. This position will require good communication with the mountain manager when adjustments need made, flags/tape need replaced or targets need reset. Volunteer will receive a free t-shirt.
Registration Assistant
Check participants in, provide information about event. Collect information from and register walk up participants. Position will require using a computer and Square system to accept payments. Position will be supervised. Volunteer will receive a free t-shirt.
Novelty Shot Attendants
This position requires you to be outgoing and personable. Assist with recruiting people to participate in the novelty shots. Manage and organize participants in novelty shots. collect money and keep records of shooters. Volunteer will receive a free t-shirt.
Merchandise Sales Assistant
Assist merchandise supervisor with sales of merchandise. Provide assistance to customers with sizing etc. Input sales data in Square system. Collect payments for sales. Volunteer will receive a free t-shirt.
Course Tear Down
Volunteers will assist MAF employees in taking targets down, pulling rebar, flags, pins, tape and signs. This is very physical labor. Heavy lifting and lots of hiking. Position will be supervised. Volunteer will receive a free t-shirt, lunch and a 1 day MAF Pass.
Practice Range Attendant
You will be calling the line, making sure everyone is shooting safely, retrieving arrows safely and that spectators always stay behind the line. Free t-shirt and sticker for a 3 hour shift.
