Idaho Falls Marathon & Half Volunteer Waiver

WAIVER:

I, the undersigned volunteer (and my parent or guardian if I am under 18 years of age), intending to be legally bound, hereby release, waive, and discharge any and all rights, claims, or actions for damages that we, our heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns may have or may hereafter accrue against any persons, organizations, or entities associated with the event, including but not limited to: Idaho Falls Marathon Foundation, Inc. (5081186)**Non-Profit Corporation (D), Bonneville County, the City of Idaho Falls, Idaho, sponsors, volunteers, and individual event organizers, arising out of or connected to my participation as a volunteer before, during, or after the Idaho Falls Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K Run.

I affirm that I am physically fit and adequately prepared to perform volunteer activities associated with this event and fully assume any risks involved. Additionally, I agree to remain vigilant and mindful of traffic and other potential hazards along the race course and hereby hold harmless the above-named entities and individuals from any liability or claims resulting from any harm or injuries that may occur.

I also grant permission to Idaho Falls Marathon and its affiliated entities to freely use my name, likeness, and pictures taken during my volunteer service for promotional purposes, including online, telecasts, broadcasts, newspapers, posters, and advertising.

I acknowledge and understand that no compensation shall be provided.

Volunteers are expected to maintain a friendly and organized environment, answer participant inquiries, and ensure efficient and accurate distribution of materials.
