Refreshment Server

Make sure guests have access to snacks/food, napkins, water, etc. Assist participants before and after event.

Course Marshal

This job is on the course. Course marshals make sure participants stay on course; help with directions so participants remain on the course.

Package Pickup Race Day

Arrive by 6:30 for package pickup. Unpack and arrange race tees and bibs. Give runners race tee and bib, along with swag bag. Accept payment and registration for people registering same day. Need 2 volunteers for 5k PPU and 2 volunteers for 10k PPU and 2 volunteers for same day registration.

Water Stop

This position is on the course. Keep disposable cups filled with water for race participants. Pick up litter if participants drop cups on the ground.

Parking Lot Attendant

Arrive by 6:30 to guide drivers to designated lot for parking. Must wear a safety vest provided by PCC and carry a flashlight. Positioned at Lookout Rd and parking lot entrance.

Package Pickup PCC

Distribute packet and race tees to registered participants; accept payment and registration for those wanting to register in person; pack up race tees and packets for transportation to RCCC race morning.

National Anthem Singer

Sings National Anthem prior to event start.

Color Guard

Flag display before the event start.

Kids Run Helpers

Help Kids get organized for Kids' Run. Run/jog with kids to turnaround point. Hand out medals when kids cross finish line

Start/Finish Line Help

Hand out race medals as participants cross finish line; direct runners doing 10k; direct runners to water/refreshments.

Photographer

Photograph registrants/volunteers both on and off course. Photos taken before, during, and after event. Photos taken of awards being handed out.

LEAD BIKE

Must bring bike--lead runners on race course. Must stay in front of lead runner.

Medical Staff

Treat minor emergencies related to falls on the course (scratches, cuts, scrapes); must provide first-aid if needed.

Music Playlist Creator

Create a playlist of songs to be played before, during, and after event--pop, hip-hop, rock, soul--music should be upbeat with clean lyrics. Music will be played continuously. Phone/iPad will be hooked up to speaker system.

Camp Gladiator

Lead group in warm-up; lead kids' fun run. Be available during event to mingle with registrants..
