Volunteer Application and Waiver
I hereby certify that the following information is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge:
- I have read and understand Festival Park's Code of Conduct.
- I understand that this is a volunteer position and that I will not receive any compensation for my services.
- I understand that I am responsible for my own transportation to and from volunteer activities.
- I understand that I am responsible for my own safety and well-being during volunteer activities.
- I agree to abide by all rules and regulations of Festival Park.
- I understand that Festival park may conduct background checks, including criminal history checks, as a condition of volunteering.
**I understand that Festival Park may decline my application for volunteer service if: **
- I have been convicted of a felony or any crime involving violence, child abuse, or sexual misconduct.
- I am unable to provide satisfactory references.
- I am unable to meet the requirements of the volunteer position.
I hereby release and hold harmless Festival Park, LLC, The City of Racine, The Mayor and officers, Racine Unified, and all schools associated with this event, its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers from any liability for any injury, loss, or damage that I may suffer while participating in volunteer activities for Festival Park.
