Waiver and Release

I assume ALL risks associated with volunteering at the Bel Inizio Giving Thanks 5k/10K/ Kids’ Fun Run. I am in proper physical condition to do this race and no medical professional has advised otherwise. I WILL NOT SUE, nor will my heirs, in the event of possible injury and/or death.

I assume all risks and responsibilities for volunteering at the race and WILL NOT SUE. I hold all organizers and sponsors BLAMELESS, in case of injury or death.

I hold all those associated with race, organizers and all sponsors, blameless. Dangerous weather could force cancellation of this event, re-scheduling.

The use of headphones is NOT allowed, due to safety. No dogs in this event. Thank you for volunteering.

Clean Up Park - Friday Mid-Day (Nov. 14 11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon)

Clean up park - Go to Sugar Land Memorial Park and clean up the park and pavillion the day before the race. Address: Sugar Land Memorial Park Lake Pavilion 15300 University Blvd, Sugar Land Texas 77479

Clean Up

Help Clean Up and load truck and vans after the race.

Water station leaders & runner sweep

Help set up all the water stations, train volunteers, monitor stations, sweep the course for the last runner/walker, and let the time know when that person is in

Sign set up and take down and course monitor

Set up gratitude signs by the "emergency light" and direct runners on the first two turns of the race. and remove the signs at 9:15 or so.

Packet Pick Up - Friday, Awakened Yoga, 5:00-7:00 PM

Help with registration and packet pick up. Location: Awakened Yoga Time: 5:00-7:00 PM

Finish Line Manager

Be in charge of all the finish line set up and volunteers including the two finish line water stops

Selfie station

Cheer team / Course monitors

Bring your signs and goodies and get ready to cheer on our runners! Arrive at 7:00 am and start by cheering on our Kids K. Then move to the the 5K/10K and cheer our runners as they start, run one or two laps and finish.
