You’ll take a left turn at the hairpin turn. There are yellow arrows indicating a turn. The aid station will be on the right side of the road so that the half marathon runners do not take product. There will be a port o pottie. Arrive at 5:45 am (need to arrive before ½ marathon runners start at 6:00 or you can’t get to station) approx. First Marathon Runner Approx 6:30am; last runner 8:30 am. 5+ volunteers
DO NOT HAND OUT WATER TO HALF MARATHON RUNNERS (accept in cases of emergency).
Directions: You will need to drive up Emigration to Pinecrest because the ½ marathon start is ¼ mile past the turnoff to this station and you will not be able to get through the runners.
This aid station is located at mile 12.5 of the marathon and is the first station to have 1/2 marathon runners. This is a great station to see a lot of people and really encourage them. This station could use 8-12 people.
This aid station is located before the half marathon point in the turnout on the right side. It is just barely (walking distance) past a red/brown square brick house. There will be a port o pottie. A large turnout can park 5-6 cars here. Arrive 5:30 am expect 1,400 runners (grouped); approx last runner 8:45 am.

This station is a great location and will see both the marathon and 1/2 marathon runners. it is located on the corner of Crestview Dr. and Emigration Canyon Rd. Just east of the zoo parking lot. This is where the marathon runners turn left to go up Crestview Dr. and the ½ marathon runners go straight down until they reach Foothill Blvd. There will be an A-frame sign in the middle of the road to direct the runners. An aid station volunteer will need to walk up ¼ mile from the water tables with the energy gel to hand to the runners so they have time to eat the gel and then get a drink of water. Arrive between 5:45 am- 5:50, expect 1,500 runners, approx last runner 9:20am. This station could use 10-12 volunteers.
You will want to Park volunteer cars at corner of zoo and the park. After last runner please take down the table, gather all used cups and place in provided trash bags, clean up area, dump extra liquid and leave all supplies on table for pick up. Thank you!
This station is located at about mile 21 of the marathon and mile 8 of the Half Marathon. This is a great place to see runners as they push for the last 5 miles of the race.
The Aid station will be on the east side of Foothill Blvd, on the grass just southeast of Wakara Way. The port o pottie will be on the island (median) in the intersection on Foothill and Wakara Way. There is no parking on Foothill please park and walk to station. Arrive at 6:15 am approx last runner 10:45 am. 8-10+volunteers. Expect 1500 Runners
The volunteers needed for this position will be posted at the finish line. They will be there to greet runners as they come in and pass by all the food that is provided for them after they run. This is a key spot as food will need to be replenished so that it is easily accessible to the runners. It is a great way to visit with runners and congratulate them as they finish.
This station is a place where runners love to see people helping since they just finished their race and are grateful to be finished. Lots of energy is needed here. It is a great place for large groups to be able to work together.
You will want to arrive at 5:30 AM at
900 S 700 E
North East corner of Liberty Park
This station could use 25+ people to help.
At 6th South and 3rd East. On the grass in front of Bldg. 560. This aid station will be small. It won’t be open until 8:45, that is when the police make the remaining marathon runners turn down 3rd east instead of 2nd east. It is the last of the runners, so you will need to stay in place until 11:30. I only anticipate 250 runners maximum passing here. There will be a port o pottie and a hand washing station.
Mix the Gatorade in the 5 gallon water jug as needed. Arrive between 8:30-8:45.
Many of the roads will be closed because of the races. Please plan to leave early so that you can navigate the road closures. Please be there by 8:30.
