Packet Pickup
Help us kick off Run, Art, Run by welcoming participants and making packet pickup smooth, fun, and stress-free.
Volunteer Duties Include:
Greeting participants with a friendly, upbeat attitude
Checking in registered participants and confirming names
Distributing race packets (shirts, bibs, and materials)
Answering basic event questions (route, start time, parking, etc.)
Helping keep the packet pickup area organized and flowing
Assisting with light setup and breakdown as needed
No prior event experience is required, just a positive attitude and a willingness to help. Volunteers play a huge role in creating a great first impression and setting the tone for race weekend!
Race Day Support
Be part of the action on event morning by supporting participants and helping bring the Run, Art, Run experience to life.
Volunteer Duties Include:
Assisting with last-minute participant check-ins and answering basic questions
Helping direct participants at the start and finish areas
Manning art stations along the route, encouraging participants to pause, create, and continue safely
Keeping art supplies organized and restocked at stations
Offering friendly guidance and encouragement to runners and walkers
Supporting safe crossings and overall flow in coordination with event staff
No prior event or art experience is required - just a positive attitude, attentiveness, and a willingness to help keep things moving smoothly. Volunteers are key to making the route welcoming, creative, and safe for everyone.
Race Set-Up
Help bring Run, Art, Run to life by setting the stage before participants arrive. This role is perfect for early risers who like hands-on teamwork and seeing an event come together from the ground up.
Volunteer Duties Include:
Marking the course with signage, cones, and directional indicators
Placing art panels along the route and setting out art supplies at each station
Assisting with start and finish line setup, including banners, tables, and participant flow areas
Helping ensure art stations and course markings are visible, secure, and ready for participants
Supporting light lifting, setup coordination, and last-minute adjustments as needed
No prior race or art setup experience is required - just a willingness to help, follow directions, and work as part of a team. Volunteers in this role play a key part in making sure the event runs smoothly, safely, and looks great from start to finish.
