Kuna Stampede Rodeo Volunteer Agreement

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Kuna Stampede Rodeo. Volunteers play a vital role in helping create a safe, enjoyable, and successful event for our community and guests. Please review the following information and expectations carefully.

Volunteer Requirements

• Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older.
• All volunteers are required to attend a mandatory one-hour volunteer orientation on Tuesday, September 1.
• Volunteer shifts are scheduled from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM unless otherwise communicated by the Volunteer Coordinator.

Event Conditions

• The Kuna Stampede Rodeo is an outdoor event.
• Volunteers should dress appropriately for weather conditions, including heat, sun, wind, rain, or cool evening temperatures.
• Water and meal tickets will be provided during volunteer shifts; however, volunteers are encouraged to bring any additional personal items needed for their comfort and well-being.

Physical Requirements

• Most volunteer assignments require periods of standing and/or walking throughout the shift.
• Volunteers should be able to safely perform the duties assigned to them or communicate any limitations prior to their shift.

Volunteer Expectations

As a Kuna Stampede Rodeo volunteer, I agree to:

1. Arrive on time and report to my assigned location.
2. Treat guests, fellow volunteers, staff, contestants, and vendors with courtesy and respect.
3. Follow all instructions provided by event staff and volunteer coordinators.
4. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the Kuna Stampede Rodeo.
5. Notify the Volunteer Coordinator as soon as possible if I am unable to attend my scheduled shift.
6. Follow all safety procedures and immediately report any concerns, injuries, or incidents to event staff.

Assumption of Risk and Release

I understand that volunteering at an outdoor rodeo event may involve certain risks, including but not limited to weather-related conditions, uneven terrain, crowds, livestock-related activities, and other hazards associated with large public events. I voluntarily assume these risks and agree to exercise reasonable care while participating as a volunteer.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless the Kuna Stampede Rodeo, its organizers, officers, directors, employees, sponsors, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from my participation as a volunteer, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Media Release

I understand that photographs and video recordings may be taken during the event. By volunteering, I grant the Kuna Stampede Rodeo permission to use my image, likeness, and voice in promotional materials, social media, websites, and other marketing efforts without compensation.
